Kids Yoga Teacher Training
Our Kids Yoga Teacher Training Program is 3 days of learning, inspiration, connection, and joy. It is designed for parents, educators, caregivers, therapists, yoga teachers, childcare providers, and anyone who feels called to share yoga with children in a meaningful and playful way. No prior yoga certification required.
Learn how to confidently teach fun and engaging Kids Yoga classes that support physical and emotional well-being. Honor the roots of the yoga while making the practice accessible, relatable, and enjoyable for children.
Grounded in SKY Founder Nicole Koleshis’s work as a school-based occupational therapist and her 20+ years of teaching yoga, the curriculum weaves together child development, inclusivity, and interactive teaching experience so you can start sharing yoga with kids right away.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
Knowledge, skills, and confidence to teach yoga and mindfulness to toddlers through age 12

Family Yoga Training
Learn how to teach yoga to families, share yoga with your family, or both!
Families who practice yoga and mindfulness together often feel happier, healthier, more playful, communicative, aware, peaceful, and connected. Whether it’s a full class or a short shared practice, yoga and mindfulness offer families a meaningful way to bond, slow down, appreciate the present moment, shift perspective, and more often than not, share sweet moments and laughter.
This training is for yoga teachers, mindfulness instructors, parents, caregivers, nannies, grandparents, family educators, counselors, therapists, social workers, community group facilitators, and anyone who loves yoga and mindfulness and cares about the well-being of families.

Yoga for Children with Disabilities Training
Learn how to make yoga and mindfulness accessible and FUN for children (toddlers through age 12) with disabilities. This training is designed for yoga teachers, parents, educators, school counselors, occupational therapists, physical therapists, social workers, caregivers, and other adults who work with children with disabilities. A basic understanding of yoga and mindfulness is recommended.

Business Basics Course
From brand new to seasoned yoga and mindfulness instructors, this course is for YOU! Working in the yoga and mindfulness industry can be challenging to navigate and filled with questions like, “Where can I teach other than yoga studios?”, “Do I need a business license?” and one of the most common, “What about taxes?”
Seattle Kids Yoga founder Nicole Koleshis has been running Kids Yoga businesses since 2007 and is excited to share her knowledge with you. From the basics of starting off on this career path to moving beyond teaching classes, there is something for everyone. The material is presented in an enjoyable, digestible, and lighthearted manner (this course will NOT be boring … or scary!) with plenty of time for individual questions and to connect with like-minded individuals.
