Family Yoga Summer Series at Ritual House

Family Yoga Summer Series at Ritual House

$84.00

Summertime in the PNW can fill up quickly with plans. Family Yoga Summer Series is a chance for families to slow down, stretch, breathe, and relax before getting back out to enjoy the summer days together.

Each class blends imagination and movement through themed adventures. Stretching and moving like bears, foxes, and deer in Forest Friends, splashing in the water and building sandcastles in Beach Day, and practicing cozy camping-inspired poses in Campfire Stories. Through partner poses, mindful moments, and games, children build coordination and confidence while families connect, laugh, and unwind together in a fun, welcoming space.

What to bring / wear:

  • 1 or more yoga mats - if your child is 2 or 3 years old, it might be best for them to share a mat with you; older children are welcome to share as well, but often enjoy having their own mat.

  • Yoga is typically practiced in comfy clothes, but whatever your child wants to wear is fine with us.

  • Please leave snacks, toys, and non-yoga items outside the yoga space or at home.

What to expect:

  • Family Yoga is a special bonding opportunity for adults and children alike. Expect partner and family poses, breathing exercises, mindful movements, time to relax, silliness, and laughter! Grown-ups are expected to participate.

  • Class will start on time, so plan on arriving about 10 minutes early to check-in, use the restroom, and get settled. For safety, the studio door will be locked once class starts.

  • When you arrive, check-in with your SKY instructor or someone from the studio at the front desk. Cubbies are available for coats, bags, and shoes (no shoes in the studio, socks are ok, but bare feet are typically best as the floor can be slippery with socks).

  • Children participate in yoga in many different ways, including observing (sometimes for the duration of the class!), receiving help, and trying things on their own. This is all developmentally appropriate and totally fine. Engage your child in class, but feel free to simply relax, have fun, and enjoy your child however they choose to participate.

Cancellation and Other Policies:

  • Registration is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

  • SKY reserves the right to replace or change the SKY instructor at any time.
